Edna M. (MacNeill) Gately Obituary
We announce the death of Edna M. (MacNeill) Gately of Randolph, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 13, 2026, at the age of 85. Edna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie MacNeill and Mildred MacNeill (Sweeney); her husband Joseph H. Gately; and her siblings, William MacNeill, Virginia MacNeil, Mildred Scarlata and Barbara Cataldo.
She is survived by: her children, Michael P. Gately (Carrie) of Attleboro, Susan Manzoni (Alex) of Randolph, Richard J. Gately of Randolph, Kenneth T. Gately of Randolph, Deborah Gately of Randolph and Carol Hewett (Jeffrey) of Duxbury; her grandchildren, Michael Manzoni, Jenna Thornhill (Wayne), Olivia Hewett and Abigail Hewett; her great grandchildren, Sophie, Benjamin and Liam Thornhill; and her sister Sally Petrucci of Norwood. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
