He was predeceased by: his parents, John Prendergast and Margaret Prendergast (Greene); and his stepchild Thomas Williams. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Prendergast (Karpinski); his children, Janet Prendergast, Roxbury, John Prendergast of Haverhill, Nancy Prendergast of France, Terry Crowley and Beth Griffin; his stepdaughter Kimberly Norwood of Plymouth; his sister Anne Keefe of Mashpee; his grandchildren, Aidan Griffin, Madeline Griffin, Jake Crowley and Maryjane Crowley; his stepgrandchildren, Jason Norwood, Allison Norwood and Kevin Norwood; and his great grandchild Graham Griffin.
