She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Shemel and Charlotte Shemel (Sherman). She is survived by: her husband Patricio Montenegro; her siblings, Donald Shemel, Doug Shemel, Janet Hanselman and Barbara Hantz; and her stepsons, Patricio Jr., Gonzalo, Diego and Eduardo Montenegro. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
