He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Burofsky and Lee Prevoir; his wife Mary Prevoir (Cole); his daughter Susan Thorn (Jonathan) of Randolph; and his nephew Colin Oborsky.
He is survived by: his daughter Ann Hoyt (Greg) of Billerica; his grandchildren, Alexander Thorn, Andrew Thorn, Alyson Thorn, Connor Hoyt and Mary Hoyt; his sister Maxine "Dollie" Oborsky of Revere; and his family Bob.
