She was predeceased by: her parents, Brooks Newton and Meredith Newton (Libby); her brother Gary Newton; and her aunt Marvis Alger. She is survived by: her husband Craig MacPherson; her children, Donald B. MacPherson (Jodi E.) of Randolph and Diane L. MacPherson of Quincy; her grandchildren, Madison, Derek MacPherson and Kyle Clements; her sister Cindy Newton (Marvis); her brother-in-law John Cronk of Weymouth; her siblings, Thomas, Anne Newton of Brockton, Edward, Janet of South Venice, Frederick and Tricia Newton of Rotonda Lakes, Florida.; and her cousin Jackie Alger.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cartwright Funeral Home (419 N Main St, Randolph, MA 02368). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to Longwood Hospice, 637 Washington Street - Suite 102 Brookline, MA 02446 is suggested.
