He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Heger, and Grace Heger, Jr. (Osborne); and his siblings, Alton Heger and Rita Jones. He is survived by: his siblings, Eleanor Caramanica, Joan Scally, Dorothy Clapp, Karen Curran, Barbara Bislarides, Susan Duncan, Elizabeth Clapp, James Heger, Donna Ayers, Deborah Heger, Robert Heger, George Heger, Richard Heger, Paul Heger and David Heger.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to, The Wounded Warrior Project in Mr. Heger's memory, would be deeply appreciated.
