He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Edward J. Gaffney Sr., Roberta Gaffney (Wells), Thomas Pont and Susan Cassell; his aunt Robin Roberts; and his uncle David Gaffney.
He is survived by: his parents, Edward Gaffney Jr. and Karen Gaffney (Pont) of Stonington, CT.; his daughter Olivia Jayne Gaffney; his significant other Brittany Venturo; his siblings, Daniel Pont, Amy and Christina Gaffney; his siblings' children, Annelise Pont, Brian Gaffney and Michael Brown; his uncle William Gaffney (Brenda); and also, Kelli Allen (John) and Mariann Kubic (Chuck).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
