She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude E. Starke (McKeown) and Harold E. Starke; her son Gerard F. Semchenko; her grandsons, Daniel Butler and Jeffrey A. Simmons; her former husbands, John Semchenko Sr. and Joseph Leary; and her sisters, Anna F. Starke, Mary Elworthy and Ellen Piso.
She is survived by: her family Rockland; her husband Gilbert F. Simmons Sr.; her children, Karen M. Butler, John H. Semchenko, Elaine S. Heshion (late David), Elizabeth A. Guillemette (Richard), William J. Semchenko, Gilbert L. Simmons (Carol) and Richard A. Simmons (late Patricia); and her grandchildren, Tanya Semchenko-Rousseau, Alicia N. Semchenko, Robert J. Butler, Timothy Semchenko, Scott Semchenko, Joseph C. Heshion, Jaqueline Guillemette, Michelle Guillemette and Richard B. Simmons. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in Geri's name to one of her favorite charities, St. Vincent de Paul, Tunnel to Towers or America Needs Fatima.
