She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth W. Silvia; her parents, Mary Tavares (Fontes) and Joseph Tavares; and her siblings, Dorothy Ambrozio, Shirley Nicolan, Richard Tavares, Edward Tavares, Mary Jane Dukacz and Sylvina Tavares.
She is survived by: her brothers, Joseph Tavares Jr. of Taunton, William Tavares of Bourne and James Tavares of Fairhaven.
