As Marie Florence departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Marie Florence may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marie Florence leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Cannariato (Bonanno) and George Cannariato; her spouse Francis T. Grassey; her son Paul Grassey; her daughter-in-law Kathryn Grassey; and her sister Vinnie Gage.

She is survived by: her children, Gail Rice (Francis) of Wareham and George Grassey (Courtney) of Hopedale; and her daughter-in-law Susan Grassey of Halifax. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
