He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Burns (Lee); and his brother Doug Roy of Medford. He is survived by: his father John Burns; his wife Maureen Burns (Carley); his sons, Nick J. Burns of Quincy and Charlie D. Burns of Los Angeles, CA; and his siblings, Sandy Cowell of Brockton, Tommy Roy of North Reading, Danny Roy of Hampton, NH and Scott Burns of Manchester, NH. He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
