She was predeceased by : her parents, Ambrose F. Knowlton and Madeline Knowlton (Greer) of Wakefield, MA.; her husband Robert Dresser (Bob); her sister Nancy Correia; her brother-in-law Norm Button; and her nieces, Heather Winsor and Melanie Fioravanti (Joslin).

She is survived by : her sons, William Dresser (Ruth) of Palmer, MA and Luke Dresser (Colleen) of Walpole, MA; her sister Elizabeth Button (Betsy) of Barre, VT; her brother-in-law Jack Correia of Methuen, MA; her nephews, Derek Winsor (Susan) of Weare, NH and David Joslin (Maryann) of Arnoldsburg, WV.; and her grandchildren, Robert, Aidan Dresser of Palmer, MA and Molly Dresser of Walpole, MA..

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Diane's name to either the Reading Public Library or Salem Animal Rescue League.
