She was predeceased by: her husband Charles E. McCarthy; her daughter Annemarie O'Brien; her grandsons, Richard Foster and Daniel Foster; and her siblings, Mildred and Paul Cogan.
She is survived by: her children, Charles J. McCarthy (Evelyn) of Beverly, Richard S. McCarthy (Virginia) of Lynn, Kathleen McCarthy of Pine Island, FL, Lorraine McLaughlin (Michael) of Winthrop, Robert P. McCarthy (Diane) of Haverhill and Deborah DelGreco (Charles) of Reading; her grandchildren, Maureen, Patrick, Christopher, Regina, Renee, Michael, Robert Jr., Rachel, Ashley and CJ; her great grandchildren, Mariah, Michael, Carolann, Patrick Jr., Aiden, Katie, Mollie, Alice, Ruby and Lianna; and her siblings, Virginia Anello (Anthony), Cathy Breck (Russ) and George Armstrong (Monica). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
