As Evelyn M. departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Evelyn M. may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Evelyn M. leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Daniel S. Malven and Dorothy G. Malven (McKay); her friend Jan; her grandson JP; her children, Kristin L. Callahan (John Osborne) of Shirley, David W. Callahan (Dawna) of Parker and Stacy L. Clough (late Jason) of Reading; and her grandson James P. "JP" Clough of Reading.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home (25 Sanborn St, Reading, MA 01867). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Old South United Methodist Church (6 Salem St, Reading, MA 01867).
