It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce L. (Meikle) Lindsay of Reading, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Meikle and Margaret Meikle (Smith); and her husband Richard Lindsay. She is survived by: her boyfriend David Rayworth; her children, Rebecca Burkle of Quincy and Chris Brown of Wakefield; her grandchildren, Taylor and Dustin Burkle; and her sister Pam Queen of St. Louis, MO..
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home (25 Sanborn St, Reading, MA 01867).
