The family announces the passing of Karen L. (Nelson) Berry of Reading, Massachusetts on September 17, 2026. Karen, born on July 25, 1939, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo Nelson and Cleone Nelson Dukeshire (Peterson); and her brother Peter Nelson. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Berry (Maryellen) and Thomas Berry (Leigh); her grandchildren, Michael Berry, Devyn Berry, Daniel Berry and Timothy Fletcher; her great grandchild Riley; and her sibling Karyl Larson (late Ralph). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barile Family Funeral Home-Stoneham (482 Main St, Stoneham, MA 02180). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the Lindenwood Cemetery.
