With sadness, we share the passing of Marie A. (Skudris) Kleponis of Reading, Massachusetts. Marie A., born on October 24, 1930, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Skudris and Anna M. Skudris (Galinas); her husband John R. Kleponis; and her siblings, Winifred J. Reardon and William J. Skudris.
She is survived by: her children, Richard J., Deborah Kleponis of Reading, Janet M., Nicholas Prizio of Medway, Carol A. Kleponis of Reading, Louise M., Charles Pothier of North Reading and Diane M. (late Bryan Finnemore) of Lynn; her grandchildren, Jason Kleponis, Andrew Kleponis, Karen Jackson and Nicholas Prizio; and her great grandchildren, Grace, Ella Jackson, Mason and Calvin Prizio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Douglass, Edgerley & Bessom Funeral Home (25 Sanborn St, Reading, MA 01867). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home (25 Sanborn St, Reading, MA 01867). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Agnes Church (186 Woburn St, Reading, MA 01867).
