Michael W. Shaffer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2025, at the age of 82, Michael W. Shaffer of Reading, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Shaffer and Shirley Shaffer (Mallory); his son Michael Shaffer; and his brothers, Rick and George Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra J. Shaffer (Bent); his sons, Mark Shaffer (Chiara) and Matthew Shaffer (Krystle); his stepdaughter Julie Gordon (Dave); and his grandchildren, Keiryn Shaffer, Ryan Shaffer and Jade V Gordon.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home (25 Sanborn St, Reading, MA 01867). A masonic service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
