We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2024, at the age of 91, Selden M. Gerade of Reading, Massachusetts, born in Melrose, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Robert G. Gerade and Eliza Gerade (Chadwick); his wife Virginia Gerade (Webb); his children, Scott A. Gerade (Mary Jo) of Reading, Susan L. Doolin (Dennis) of Reading and Glenn W. Gerade of Reading; his grandchildren, Sean, Kelly and Jennifer Doolin; his great grandchildren, Hadley, Mckenna, Milo and Stevie; his stepgrandchildren, Loren Poulo, Mathew, Justin and Daniel Kennedy; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ruby, Grace and Dylan.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Selden's memory to the American Cancer Society http://www.cancer.org or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
