She was predeceased by: her parents, Felisberto G. Rocha and Firminia Rocha (Vieira); her husband Francis W. "Obie" O'Brien; her children, MaryJane O'Brien and Michael J. O'Brien; and her siblings, Joao, Maria Rocha, Marine Felisberto G. Rocha Jr., Angelina "Yaya" Marmo, Mary Fontaine, Theresa Mazzone, John Rocha and Anthony "Tony" Rocha.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Wojcik (Tony), Kathleen O'Brien, Joan Figueira (Harold), Francis W. "Bill" O'Brien, Jr. and MaryAnne Heroux (Steve); her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jared, Joslin, Todd, Eric, Kelly, Christopher, Stacy, Kayla, Julia and Joey; her great grandchildren, Zachary, Jonah, Lyla, Teddy, Phoebe, Tyson, Adrianna, Alex, Parker, Andrew and Benjamin; and her sister Frances Howles. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Loreto Church (346 Waterman Ave, East Providence, RI 02914). A committal service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
