DiRienzo (Simonds); his daughters, Angela M. DiRienzo and Michelle L. Tetreault (Christopher); his stepson Daniel J. DiRienzo, Jr.; his grandchildren, Amelia Fay and Joseph Daniel; and his siblings, Olive M. Chase, Ruth A. Donnelly, Thomas E. DiRienzo, Robert D. DiRienzo, Mary T. DiRienzo and William J. DiRienzo. He is also survived by spouses and many nieces and nephews.
