He was predeceased by : his wife Joyce Grassie (Costa); his parents, Everett W. Grassie, Sr. and Merlyn Grassie (Dyer); and his brother Charles Grassie. He is survived by : his sister Pamela Rose; his children, Mark D. Grassie (Rosalind) of North Dighton and Wendy B. O'Dell (William) of Bristol, RI; his grandchildren, Kimberly Gordon (Eric Gordon), Nicholas Grassie, Colin O'Dell (Marissa) and Kyle O'Dell (Kimberly Medeiros); and his great grandchildren, Kaleb and Kyla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
