He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gilbert and Viola Gilbert; and his brother Ronald Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gilbert (Benson) of Rehoboth; his children, Kim Allen (Jeffrey), Michelle Masse and Craig Gilbert (Melinda); his stepsons, Joseph and Michael Benson; his grandchildren, Jessica Clay (Raymond), Zachary Allen, Ryan Allen, Abigail Gilbert and Kaylee Sousa; and his great grandchildren, Julian and Henry Clay.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Keefe Wade Funeral Home (70 Washington St, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
