He was predeceased by : his wife Adelaide Martignetti; his daughter Michelina Martignetti; and his siblings, Ferdinando, Beniamino, Felice, Alessandro Martignetti, Emanuella Martignetti and Lucia Musto.

He is survived by : his children, Maria Swan (Michael) of Lynnfield and Alessandro Martignetti (Paula) of Revere; his grandchildren, Melissa Swan of Revere, Elijah Swan (Maria) of Saugus and Brandon Carlson of Seneca Falls, NY.; and his sister Suora Antonietta Martignetti of Rome. He is also survived by sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
