He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Stephen Murray (Cindy) and Catherine M. Murray (Sciarappa); his siblings, Brett Murray (Rebecca White) of Malden, Brad Murray of Malden and Brenna Murray of Delray Beach; and his stepsiblings, Salina and Gabrielle.

In lieu of flowers, a college fund for his niece will be established in his memory.
