He was predeceased by : his wife Edith V. (DeMatteo); his parents, Edward Amodeo and Anna Amodeo (DeStefano); and his siblings, Joseph Amodeo, Mary Catino and Victor Amodeo.

He is survived by : his children, Camille McCormick (Clark) of Reading and Edward Amodeo (Elizabeth) of Georgetown; and his grandchildren, Sarah McCormick, Ryan McCormick, Maria Amodeo, Allison Amodeo and Edward H. Amodeo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.

“Eddie was my neighbor for many years. My wife and I raised our 5 children next door to Eddie. He was like family to them. Many times we would look for them only to find them relaxing, watching tv and being treated with ice cream by Edie and Eddie. We were very fortunate to have had him in our children's lives.
