With sadness, we share the passing of Flor Maria Vasallo (Revere, Massachusetts). Flor, born on February 15, 1937, passed away on July 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Riofrio and Rosa Carrión. She is survived by: her husband Alberto Vasallo Jr. of Havana; the father of her children Alberto Vasallo Jr.; her children, Alberto Vasallo III (Natalia) of Revere and Maria Vasallo of Revere; and her grandchildren, Michael Arsenault, Nicholas Arsenault and Alexandra Vasallo.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Flor's memory to AENI (The Association of Ecuadorians in New England), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing basic services to underprivileged children in Ecuador — a cause close to Flor's heart and a fitting tribute to a woman who gave so much to her community and never forgot her roots.
