Irene left this world on July 23, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Giuffrida; her parents, Luigi Sozio and Michelina Sozio (Imperato); her siblings, Angelo "Chuck" Sozio, Mary Kelley and Anthony Sozio; and her grandmother Day (Irene).
She is survived by: her daughters, Santina Primavera (Giuffrida) of Lynnfield and Gina Giuffrida (late Robert Noto) of Lynnfield; and her grandchildren, Francesca (Greig), Robert, Caterina, Evelyn and Gemma.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Buonfiglio Funeral Home (128 Revere St, Revere, MA 02151). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony of Padua Parish (250 Revere St, Revere, MA 02151).
