She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Juan Mendez and Raquel Fontanez (Vazza); and her husband Hector Nieves. She was also cherished by 4 children, 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Beechwood Home For Funerals (262 Beach St, Revere, MA 02151). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Oak Lawn Cemetery (427 Cummins Hwy, Boston, MA 02131).
