She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph H. McDonough and Frances McDonough; and her husband Edward "Buddy" Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Nelson, Jamie Nelson (Lauren Nelson), Jennifer Ivester (Jake Ivester) and Jonathan Nelson (Da'Marcus Baymon); her grandchildren, Alana, Brady, Dylan, Hannah, Colby and Jordan; her sister Susan (McDonough); and her brother-in-law Val Lanza. She is also survived by four nieces and two grandnieces.
