The memory of John J. Murphy of Revere, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Murphy and Isabella Murphy (Walls); and his siblings-in-law, Carole Sargent and Richard Sargent (Karen Steed). He is survived by: his wife Mary "Honey" (Sargent); his children, John Murphy, Jr. (Kellie-Lyn) of Winthrop and Kathleen O'Donnell (Jimmy) of Revere; his grandchildren, James O'Donnell III, Madison-Lyn Murphy and Katie O'Donnell; his siblings, William Murphy, Patricia Murphy, Mary Murphy Wilson (Buddy), Helena of Sharnis and Margaret Sealey; and his siblings-in-law, Roberta Callinan (Ernest) and George. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Beechwood Home For Funerals (262 Beach St, Revere, MA 02151). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
