Diaz (Aceto); his siblings, Donald Diaz (Angela Diaz) and Anne Brangiforte; his stepdaughters, Sheryl Barry and Jodi DeFreitas; his grandchildren, Anna Marie Particelli, Anthony Diaz, Michael Romano and Emilio Matarazzo; and his daughter-in-law Laurie Santaniello.

He is survived by: his wife Angela Diaz (Antonelli); his children, Lisa Diaz (Christopher Cavanaugh) of Woburn, Richard Diaz of Revere and James Diaz of Lynn; his daughter-in-law Gail Scimone of Revere; his stepchildren, Denise Matarazzo (Emilio) of Chelsea and Fran DeFreitas of Everett; his grandchildren, Ron Particelli (Kristen), Stephanie Picardi (Davie Goodrich), James Diaz, Nicole Dunn (William), Lauren Cavagnaro (Christina), Kristina Diaz, Richard Diaz, Stephen Philbin (Allyson), Jason Philbin, Thais Iannaccone, Angela Iannaccone and Erin Barry; his siblings, Lorraine Chabuz (Teddy) and Denis Diaz (Kathleen); and his siblings-in-law, Salvatore Brangiforte and Frannie Antonelli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
