He was predeceased by: his parents, Domingo Benton and Rose Benton (Phillips). He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Benton of Rochester; and his children, Jennifer Hunter (Alan, Jr.) of Rochester, David Benton, Jr. of Fairhaven and Diane Gagne of New Bedford. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
