Henry Stopka Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Stopka of Rochester, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Henry Stopka to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy A. Stopka (Lake); his parents, John Stopka and Alexandria Stopka (Ostrawski); and his son Jeffrey Stopka. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Stopka of Middleboro, Deborah Veary (Kenneth) of Rochester, Gary Stopka (Anne Marie) of Rochester and Jennifer Thomas (Dennis Lynch) of Fairhaven; his grandchildren, Justin Thomas, Ryan, Trevor, Caitlin and Jethro Stopka; his stepgranddaughter Heather McIvor (Thomas); and his great grandchild McKenna Thomas. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Wareham (2599 Cranberry Hwy, Wareham, MA 02571). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
