He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dr. Lawrence DiBona and Danny DiBona. He is survived by: his wife Sharon DiBona; his stepchildren, Darlene DiBona Chesko (Chad Chesko), Donna DiBona (Rob Hannah), Deanna DiBona Maxwell (Bill Maxwell), Michael Spanner, Elizabeth Spanner Henshaw (Ben Henshaw) and Amy Spanner; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Spanner, Lucas Spanner, Liam Maxwell, Aidan Maxwell and Clark Chesko; and his brothers, Robert DiBona and Bruno DiBona.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Andrew J. Magni & Son Funeral Home (365 Watertown St, Newton, MA 02458). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church (573 Washington St, Newton, MA 02458). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
