Alexander MacKinlay Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2025, Alexander MacKinlay of Rockland, Massachusetts, born in Quincy, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander MacKinlay and Mary MacKinlay (Neilson); his wife Sally W. MacKinlay; and his sister Anne Baxendale. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Byrne (Walter) of Rockland, Glenn MacKinlay (Cynthia) of Norwell and Jill Matson (John) of Rockland; his sister Helen Miller; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Healy, Kristina Healy, Lisa Daniels, Brian Byrne, Andrew MacKinlay, Meredith MacKinlay, Harrison MacKinlay, Julia Matson and Lily Matson; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Freya Daniels; Diamond Days and Rejoice. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
