He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Nickelson (Ryan) of Rockland; his daughters, Jennifer Burke (David) of Weymouth and Rebecca Ponte (Chris) of Vermont; his brother Robert Nickelson, Jr. (Jeannie) of Virginia; his in-law John Ryan (Janet) of Florida; his grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew Burke and Mason Ponte; and his nephews, Keith, Ryan Nickelson, Holli Caddy, Allison Haddadin, Michael Ryan and Ryan Keady.
