We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2025, at the age of 83, James W. Dennehy of Rockland, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Dennehy-Rush (Browne) and Kevin Dennehy; and his former wife Rosemary C Dennehy (Primavera). He is survived by: his wife Jean Dunphy-Dennehy; his children, Patrick and Patricia Dennehy of Rockland; his grandchildren, Shane, Allison Dennehy of Abington and Kelley McDougall; and his great grandchildren, Bella and Mark Richardson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
