She was predeceased by : her parent Terry Bates of Gloucester, RI. She is survived by : her close friend Michael Burdett of Woodstock Valley, CT; her caregiver Ann Ryder (Burdett) of Winchester, NH; her sisters, Pam Dunaway (Jim Rasco) of Little Rock, AR and Judy Dunaway of Westhampton, MA; her nieces, Laura Rasco Reeves (Darren Reeves) of Little Rock, AR, Lisa Rasco (Ben Weil) of Leeds, MA and Elizabeth Dunaway (Jordi Herold) of Northampton, MA; her nephew Edward Smith III of Greenfield, MA; and her uncle Edwin Eagle Dunaway. She is also survived by five grand-nieces and two grand-nephews.

Jacqueline "Jacque" Dunaway (age 75) died of complications due to Parkinson's Disease and a rare form of leukemia on January 12, 2024.
