She was predeceased by: her parent Terry Bates of Gloucester, RI. She is survived by: her close friend Michael Burdett of Woodstock Valley, CT; her caregiver Ann Ryder (Burdett) of Winchester, NH; her sisters, Pam Dunaway (Jim Rasco) of Little Rock, AR and Judy Dunaway of Westhampton, MA; her siblings' children, Laura Rasco Reeves (Darren Reeves) of Little Rock, AR, Lisa Rasco (Ben Weil) of Leeds, MA, Elizabeth Dunaway (Jordi Herold) of Northampton, MA and Edward Smith III of Greenfield, MA; and her uncle Edwin Eagle Dunaway. She is also survived by five grand-nieces and two grand-nephews.

Jacqueline "Jacque" Dunaway (age 75) died of complications due to Parkinson's Disease and a rare form of leukemia on January 12, 2024.
