Nancy J. MacDowell Obituary

Nancy J. MacDowell, 83, of Rockport, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, with her family by her side.

She was born in Beverly, Massachusetts, and daughter of the late Alice and Sam MacDearmid. Nancy attended Beverly High School and later The Chandler Business School in Boston, Mass. She married Richard F. MacDowell, moved to Rockport and they raised nine children together Jeannette, Judith, Andrew, Richard, Susanne, Kenneth, Deborah, Robert and Jeffrey.

Nancy loved her small-town community of Rockport surrounded by her family and friends where she worked as a Realtor for decades. She was an avid Gardner, cook and loved to go to the beach.

She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, nieces and friends who will miss her deeply.

Go to the Beach - listen to the ocean waves, collect shells and watch a beautiful sunset. We love you, Mom.
