She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph J. Vacirca; her sons, Stephen and Clifford; and her daughter-in-law Pamela (Scarmeas).

Connie, as she is known by her family and friends, died from a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
