She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Nee; and her siblings, Mary Hennessey, Eleanor Spitz, Rita Keane, Michael, Donald and Billy Kenny.
She is survived by: her children, John "Jack" Nee, Jr. (Judy) of Winthrop, Mary "Mimi" Connell (Jim) of Walpole, Eileen "Frankie" Meaney (Jeff) of Walpole and Thomas Nee (Maureen) of Arlington; her grandchildren, John "Jack" III (Lily), Thomas, Isabelle Nee, Julia, Patrick, Bridget Connell, Kathleen Murphy (Jerry), Jeffrey Meaney (Jacqueline), Coleman, Brendan and Evan Nee; and her great grandchildren, Jerry III, Molly, Thomas Murphy and Clare Meaney. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A procession will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Name Church (1689 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
