He was predeceased by: his father Saint Louis Ophelien; and his sibling's child Emilson Ophelien Charlene Ophelien. He is survived by: his mother Marie Fleurencia Benoit; his siblings, Marie Wislene Ophelien, Marie Erzulie Ophelien, Marie Lyvie Ophelien Colin, Lanissau Ophelien, Triana Ophelien Waldron and Marie France Ophelien Simon; and his siblings' children, Kerry Ophelien and Kevin Ophelien. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 12 nephews and nieces and 2 grandnieces.
