She is survived by: her sons, Edward J. Kern (Beth) of Hopkinton, Stephen F. Kern (Susan) of Chestnut Hill, Michael V. Kern (Christine) of West Roxbury and John H. Kern (Gloria) of Roslindale; her sisters, Mary (John O'Brien), Margie (Jim Lester) and Ann McCaig; and her siblings-in-law, Paddy Gleeson and Anne Kern.
