She was predeceased by: her parents, James Griffin and Catherine Griffin; and her brothers, Michael, William, James and Kevin Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Prendergast of West Roxbury, John Prendergast of Haverhill, Nancy Prendergast of La Tremblade, France, Terry Crowley (John) of West Roxbury and Beth Griffin of Asheville, NC; her grandchildren, Aidan Griffin (Caroline) of Dover, NH, Madeline Griffin of Austin, TX, Jake Crowley of Roslindale and MaryJane Gobernik (Arkady) of Roslindale; and her great grandchild Graham Griffin.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Chrysostom Church (4750 Washington St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
