She was predeceased by: her father Grover "Carl"; her husband Peter E. Shields; and her siblings, Bernice E. Plantier, Nelson Lesure, Floyd Lesure, Gordon Lesure, Gerald Lesure, Ronald Lesure and Paul Lesure.
She is survived by: her mother Bessie; her brothers, Lawrence Lesure, Charles Lesure and Richard Lesure; and her family Melissa Nicholson of Pittsfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and great-grand nieces and nephews, including a special niece.
