He is survived by: his daughters, Kaitlin Hughes (Will Hughes) and Courtney Freeman (Steve Freeman); his wife Donna Murphy; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Lincoln, Violet, William and Kennedy; his brother Robert Murphy Jr.; and his son William Henry Murphy Jr. (Zoe). He is also survived by other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the F. S. Roberts & Son Funeral Home (14 Independent St, Rowley, MA 01969-1827). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Parish of Rowley (196 Main St, Rowley, MA 01969).
