It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christine Hunt (Rutland, Massachusetts), who passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William W. Suchocki and Elaine M. Suchocki (Barre); and her sisters, Joanne M. Suchocki and Ann-Marie Stukowski. She is survived by: her significant other Bernie; her children, Emily Oakes (Jesse) of Bloomington and Matthew Hunt (Shannon); her granddaughters, Elaine Oakes and Nora Christine Hunt; her fiancé Bernard Demers of Rutland; and her siblings, Mary-Joy O'Malley (David) of Rutland, Daniel W. Suchocki (Lila) of Rutland and Denis G. Suchocki (Christina) of Rutland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (258 Main St, Rutland, MA 01543).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Patrick's Church, Rutland, or to a charity supporting children's swimming programs in Christine's memory.
