With sadness, we share the passing of Tammi M. Novia (Rutland, Massachusetts). Tammi, born on November 1, 1974, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Tammi for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her mother Anna Marie Nelson (DiFranco). She is survived by: her father Steven Novia; her caregiver Dennis Nelson; her brother Steve Novia; and her stepsiblings, Michael, Danyelle Nelson, Angelica and Tom Price. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles, several cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Patrick's Church (258 Main St, Rutland, MA 01543). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Grove Cemetery (1284 Main St, Holden, MA 01520).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tammi's name to Saint Patrick's Church – Haitian Mission Fund, 258 Main Street, Rutland, MA 01543, or to the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, 3239 E. 2nd Avenue, Denver, CO 80206.
