She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron "Dewey" Dustin and Eleanor Dustin (Fielding); and her siblings, Glennie Jones, John Dustin and Eileen Burns.

She is survived by: her husband Michael Thomas Szymczak; and her siblings, Sharon DeSisto (Paul), Stephen Dustin (Mary) and Randall. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
